Mark G. Poulakidas


Mark G. Poulakidas focuses his litigation and trial practice on the defense of transportation claims, suits involving construction negligence and construction defect, premises liability claims, and products liability actions, frequently involving catastrophic and neurological injuries and wrongful death claims.  Mark also advises clients on the scope of insurance coverage, exclusions, blanket and special endorsements, and tenders of defense and indemnity.  He is experienced in the prosecution and defense of declaratory judgment actions, contract matters, and other commercial and employment law causes of action.

Mark has tried and handled cases pending in counties all around Illinois, in the Federal system, and various alternate dispute forums.  He frequently speaks to industry groups on transportation litigation, safety management services and related topics.

Mark is the current President of the Hellenic Bar Association of Illinois and an officer of the Hellenic Bar Foundation, a Section 501(c)(3) entity.  He is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and DRI.
